"My parent's house made up one realm. This realm was familiar to me in almost every way. Mother and Father. Love and strictness. Model behavior and school"

- Demian, Hermann Hesse.

In order to understand this video, you must look at the past of Jimin. There is information of Jimin presented in this video but one can only learn so much from this one video. This video, in my opinion, is one of the shortest out of all the teasers in terms of how long music is played. However, it still has to deal with the theme of Wings that they are all in purgatory.

The first image that viewers are expose to is a painting of a forest. In order to understand the significance of the forest, one must read or follow the other albums of BTS. The story line tells us that in the past Jimin left and entered the woods, in which he was lost and couldn't find his parents. The quote also ties into this theory because in the video there is no one there except for Jimin. He doesn't have parents with him, there is no model behavior. More importantly there is no JHope.

When the video shows Jimin on the bed alone there is proof that Jimin feels alone. JHope is expected to be there like he was in Run. There even is a link with the pills that shows up in Lie which represents JHope because his character took pills. The link between these two boys is strong and lasts past life. Even the lyrics demonstrate this, because the song goes, "Caught in a lie, find me who is hidden...bring me my smile...bring me out of this hell" which refers to JHope who is not there and he was expecting him to be which is why he throws the pillow. He wants to find him. Love does not end at death.

A motif that reoccurs is apples. Everyone knows about the biblical version of the story of Adam and Eve and how since Eve ate the apple, she went against God's commands and was punished. This feeds into the theory they are in purgatory. This theory was mentioned previously and in this video Jimin could represent anger. He feels angry that there is no one there for him and it hurts even more because he expected Jhope to always be there for him.

Going back to the novel, it seems ironic that the quote talks about family when there is no one there for Jimin. He has been alone and he is caught in this lie that he created himself. His whole life is essentially a lie because he presents himself as someone happy and nice but in reality he is far from happy. He has his own worries just like anyone else and he is stuck in trying to show everyone the good side of him. This causes him to become depressed and drown himself.

A video that was posted on youtube helped to set this theory because the musicians/artists said that even the beat or tempo of the music makes one feel wrapped up. They even call it "sneaky" and state that, "this type of music just doesn't really happen in pop music" which makes the point of the song come across to even those not familiar with the Korean language.
